    Job Summary:

    Are you a skilled Estimator with a proven background in multi-family construction, specifically in projects involving townhouses, 4plexes, and wood frame constructions? Join our dynamic team in Calgary and play a key role in shaping the success of our innovative multi-family projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Project Cost Estimation:
      • Conduct accurate and comprehensive cost estimations for multi-family construction projects, considering all relevant factors, materials, and labor.
      • Collaborate with project teams to analyze project requirements and develop detailed cost breakdowns.
    2. Bid Preparation:
      • Prepare thorough and competitive bids for multi-family projects in line with project specifications and company objectives.
      • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate and competitive quotes.
    3. Value Engineering:
      • Work collaboratively with the project team to identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
      • Provide cost-saving alternatives while maintaining project integrity.
    4. Cost Analysis:
      • Analyze and review project costs at various stages, providing regular updates to the project management team.
      • Identify cost trends and potential cost-saving measures throughout the project lifecycle.
    5. Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:
      • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
      • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to achieve the best value for the project.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an Estimator in multi-family construction projects, specifically with townhouses, 4plexes, and wood frame constructions.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
    • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
    • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
