About the role:


What you will do:


  • As a Vena advocate and brandleader, you will own the sales execution and performance within your account segment of enterprise customers, post 15 months after the initial sale.
  • You will own the growth and outreach strategy for your account segment through (but not limited to) the following actions:Engage in strategic account planning by considering economic, industry, and company factors with a Customercentric lens. Drive Customer growth by proactively identifying opportunities to deliver greater customer value in the areas of core financial planning, extended business planning and beyond. Proactively build relationships with multiple stakeholders (vertically and horizontally) across the Customer's wider organization (including subsidiaries)
Ask layered, open-ended questions to understand and clarify Customer's objectives and challenges beyond surface-level detail.

Drive customer decision making by achieving shared vision and proactively considering the value props that tie all stakeholders together.- Own the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of your sales reporting, including sales activities, pipeline status and forecast updates- Partner as needed with all internal Vena Teams to improve and drive sales with appropriate awareness and sensitivity to those Teams' requirements, dependencies and operations with the goal of complete cross functional transparency and alignment.

- Relentlessly drive to achieve your performance targets in key areas such as:

Quarterly and annual customer expansion ARR Build pipeline through prospecting activity through own efforts, guiding and leveraging sales development resources and working alongside the Vena Enterprise Sales team and Partner network- Participate in attracting and mentoring team members and always be developing Vena's high performance, creative, innovative and results driven Account Management team.

Be responsible for contributing to a team culture that is dedicated to growth, collaboration, accountability and respect- Travel (as needed) to client events and site visits


Does this sound like you?:

  • 5+ years of managing and working with larger organizations to guide them through complex sales cycles (expansion into new divisions, multistage presentations, demonstrations, proof of concept and ARR of $50,000+) Proven experience in a quota carrying account management or sales role within high growth SaaS sales team(s) and/or larger enterprise vendors (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) Is disciplined in Territory and Account Planning, Forecasting, and Quota Attainment. Drive performance through creativity, leadbyexample leadership, compelling communication and inspiration. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to build initial and sustained relationships with senior management and Csuite Finance stakeholders Proven reputation as an account management/sales professional who exemplifies and fits with Vena's values. Is experienced in following best practices when using CRM and other Sales tools in order to manage the Sales and Buyer cycles (i.e. Salesforce, Gong, Seismic, SalesLoft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, etc.)
