Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Service Technician in Val-d'Or, Quebec.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and mechanically inclined individual to join our vehicle fire suppression repair and maintenance team.

Based in Val D'Or, you will join a company dedicated to your growth and development, and build your career through formal technical training and certifications from our manufacturers, as well as hands-on training with our experienced team from across Canada.

Your role will involve working on various sites for our clients in the Val D'Or area, including underground mine sites.

Salary ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude, a passion for health and safety and excellent communication skills are the most important qualifications for our new team member.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Ability to work out of town for extended periods of up to 12 hours per day, including overnight stays.
Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent practical role with vehicles or other motorized equipment is a strong asset.
Prior customer service experience will help you work effectively with our customers, both internal and external.
You are naturally comfortable with technology and have experience using computers and mobile devices.
