This position is part of the asset management team within the EnPower Technical services team reporting to the Supervisor, Asset Management and will play a key role in providing expertise in developing and implementing ATCO EnPower's Asset Management Policy & Governance.

Travel to field locations may be required occasionally.


What You Get To Do:


  • Develop and maintain Asset Management Information System (Maximo) program including governance policies and procedures.
  • Progress Maximo Program and Asset management enhancement projects (i.e., Scheduling tools, digital inspection forms, mobile solution, configuration, integrations, etc.,)
  • Understand the current state, recommend futurestate, and develop & maintain a multiyear roadmap.
  • Define and document business usecases.
  • Understand and validate proposed technical solutions against business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into individual project scopes and project plans.
  • Operationalize Maximo as a sole source of truth for asset management information.
  • Perform RFP process, vendor evaluations, and coordinate with IT Vendor Management
  • Develop project forecast and allocate annual budget.
  • Collaborate with IT resources for inclusion and documentation of business requirements, functional and nonfunctional technical requirements, and support project management documentation.
  • Follow IT project intake process and develop business cases for the approval of capital projects.
  • Champion project management staged gate process.
  • Support business testing during projects solution (e.g., test scripts, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, etc. as required).
  • Provide necessary technical support including development and delivery of Maximorelated training to other business units.

Who You Are:


  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in Maximo enterprise asset management, and/or similar Enterprise Asset Management Database.
  • University degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business/Commerce, Engineering, Accounting, or Economics. A Business Analyst certification is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Proven ability to interface with both IT and Business (office and field) personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently, take initiative and function with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present critical information to field operations and company management in a simple and concise manner.
  • Ability to multitask and work within a fastpaced environment while remaining flexible and steadfast.
  • Experience with Maximo (preferred) but experience with other Maintenance Management systems or tools may be considered as well.
  • Basic understanding and experience with Database management, including data collecting, sorting, cleaning, and visualization.
