The Green Energy Services team at Aecon is bringing energy solutions for residential customers in Canada.

This includes solar rooftop systems, energy storage, EV charging solutions and integration of these devices in the overall residential energy management.

In addition, we are building solutions towards electrification of residential heating and cooling loads to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

For heating and cooling needs, our solutions include the use of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps (including geothermal loops) and hybrid solutions (where feasible) for both New Build and Retrofit homes.

Reporting to the Solar Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing coordination and support to various aspects of operations to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of the installation of underground utility infrastructure.

What You'll Do Here:

Assist in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budget tracking and resource allocation.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Support the implementation of tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with PM to plan & execute solar projects from initiation to completion.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Ensures / tracks that quality and frequency of safety inspection / reporting is following Aecon Health & Safety and Environmental Manual
Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.

What You Bring to the Team:

College or University Graduate in Engineering, Business, Green Energy, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or startup industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and project management tools.
Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, specs, etc.
