Reports To
The Business Analyst/Data Scientist will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Job Overview

The Business Analyst / Data Scientist is responsible for a strong focus on customer retention and acquisition through the collection and analysis of relevant datasets to drive sales performance, provide insights into lowered Cost per Gross Addition (CPGA) and improved Average Revenue per User (ARPU) across various lines of business.

In addition, the role will be responsible to collect and analyze data regarding our Call Centre performance.

What You'll Do:

Sales Data Analysis:
Collect, clean, and analyze sales data by product and channel to gain insights into sales performance. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to optimize sales strategies and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with sales teams to develop data-driven strategies for enhancing sales effectiveness and expanding market reach.

CPGA and ARPU Improvement:
Analyze data to understand the company's CPGA and ARPU across multiple lines of business and products/services. Identify factors influencing these metrics and develop strategies to improve them.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and product management, to develop initiatives that optimize CPGA and ARPU while maintaining or enhancing customer acquisition and retention rates.


Call Centre Performance Enhancement:


Analyze Call Centre performance metrics, including Call Handling, Help Desk Tickets (including ticket accuracy and systems notation), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance customer support experiences, reduce ticket resolution time, and increase customer satisfaction.

Utilize data insights to drive process improvements and training initiatives for Call Centre agents.

Customer Retention and Acquisition:
Use data analysis to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and churn patterns. Collaborate with the Customer Care and marketing team to develop strategies that improve customer retention and acquisition. Leverage data insights to enhance customer experiences, develop targeted marketing campaigns, and optimize customer lifecycle management.

Performance Monitoring:
Design and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of sales, CPGA, ARPU, and Call Centre improvement strategies. Develop or manage dashboards and reports to provide regular updates on performance metrics to key stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant teams.

Insights and Recommendations:
Translate complex data analyses into actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing sales performance, CPGA, ARPU, and Call Centre operations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  • What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, or a related field. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or a similar role in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications metrics, KPIs, and industryspecific challenges.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
