Position Summary


The Toronto Lung Transplant Program is one of the world's foremost programs, renowned for cutting edge research and clinical practice.

Working under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator and Principal Investigators, the
Clinical Research Analyst requires past experience in the coordination and administration of clinical studies.

The CRA must be able to interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance during the conduct of the study.


Duties
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment of study participants (e.g. identifying, screening potential participants & obtaining informed consent);
  • Coordinating patient visit schedules as per study protocol;
  • Executing/coordinating all aspects of study visits (e.g. documentation of adverse events and medications, administration of questionnaires, sample collection, sample processing & shipping, etc.);
  • Reviewing & assessing studyrelated documents; assisting with submissions to the Research Ethics Board;
  • Liaising with sponsors, external stakeholders and members of the clinical care team;
  • Implementing and coordinating all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines;
  • Executing studyrelated administrative tasks, such as completion of relevant study CRFs, logs, trackers, databases, etc.;
  • Maintaining regulatory files.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or sciencerelated discipline
  • At minimum one (1) year's appropriate clinical and/or professional experience
  • At least one (1) year's clinical research experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as ICH/GCP, Tri-Council Policy, FDA CFR and Health Canada TPD
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Welldeveloped leadership skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Selfmotivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Completion of a suitable Phlebotomy course is an asset
