D U T I E S
The Business Analyst & Office Manager plays a key role in day to day operations of the Financial
Services Department. With some autonomy, leads and supports the use, development and
Polytechnic community as required where finance is impacted.

The position also provides leadership to the department, including supervision, financial
management, manager support and daily operational management. This positions supports and
reports directly to the Director, Financial Services; is also responsible for implementing
operational efficiencies within Financial Services and creating a culture that is conducive to
excellent customer service while helping ensure adherence to policy and process.

The Office Manager & Business Analyst may also participate and play key roles in RRC Polytech
- wide teams and initiatives.

  • R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
  • Diploma in Business Administration or Business Analysis; an equivalent combination of
- education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with integrated computer programs, ERP systems, payment systems and
- financial databases to optimize business processes and solutions
  • Experience gathering and analyzing data, building financial decision models and using
- quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision making
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills to present on new processes and support financial and
- non-financial staff on new processes
  • Experience with change management and process improvement
  • Experience with business analysis, data analytics, process improvement and project

- implementation
  • Experience in general office management and administrative operations
  • Ability to effectively consult with other departments about their business functionality
  • Effective written skills to provide information for training manuals and clearly recommend
- process improvements and policy changes- issues
  • Supervisory experience in a diverse work environment
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning
and continuous improvement
