Description
Performance Expectations
- Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings (blueprints) and/or work orders
- Operate punch press, brake press, lathe, saws, and other related metal forming and cutting equipment
- Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to job needs
- Maintain industrial machines using knowledge of mechanics, layout, and machining procedures
- Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required
Credentials
- Experience operating machinery and knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as Kanban, Lean, and 5S would be considered an asset
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50Ibs
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot by identifying mechanical errors
