Description
We are looking for a
Compensation Administrator for a large Canadian client in Toronto. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits.


The Compensation Administrator is responsible for processing compensation and commission payments as quickly and seamlessly as possible ensuring service levels to internal and external clients are maintained.

This includes managing advisor inquiries and conducting appropriate follow up for requested information with the carriers and escalating when appropriate.


Responsibilities:


  • Assume ownership of assigned inquiries, including recognizing any urgencies and effectively resolving any issues pertaining to advisor compensation
  • Perform indepth commission investigations as required
  • Build effective relationships with advisors and internal partners, acting as a consistent point of contact on compensation related issues and follow through to resolution
  • Assist Sales team members and internal business partners with furthering their understanding of the compensation agreements at each carrier
  • Processes manual commission corrections and adhoc bonus payments
  • Manage the debit collection process for advisors with outstanding payments
  • Additional responsibilities, duties and special projects as identified

Job Knowledge / Work Experience:

years experience in the insurance industry a related capacity

  • Experience in a highly serviceoriented role an asset
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent judgement with strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Outstanding attention to detail with proven ability to be precise, accurate and meticulous
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with proven ability to handle multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Proven ability to work effectively with others to establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships
  • Excellent English language skills, both oral and written due to frequent interactions with Englishspeaking colleagues, internal partners or clients across Canada. Speaking French is an asset
