Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related projects, including formwork, finishing, and installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, masonry, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction, contributing to high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and durable surfaces
- Install rebar and perform masonry tasks as required for structural integrity
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately
- Perform carpentry tasks related to formwork and structural support
- Conduct restoration and renovation work on existing structures as needed
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels for detailed work like caulking and sealing joints
- Assist with flooring installation and other related construction activities
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, and equipment operation
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, or related construction trades
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools
- Skills in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate project execution
- Experience with restoration or renovation projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, concrete work, and equipment operation
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Prior experience with hand tools and concrete finishing techniques is highly desirable

Pay: $18.20-$38.54 per hour
