Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Part-Time Room Attendant

$17.60/hr during 3 month probationary period.

$19.56/hr following completion of probationary period.

Between 8 to 24 hours per week with the possibility of more hours in the summer.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning tile floors, vacuuming and emptying trash
Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing bathroom fixtures, surfaces, tile walls and appliances
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
Replenish all amenities, linens and supplies in guest room
Ensuring linen closets and housekeeping carts are neat, clean and tidy at all times
Responding promptly to all requests by guests and employees
Informing managers of maintenance deficiencies, low supply levels and missing amenities
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with Health and Safety regulations
Perform any other job related duties as assigned
Sort all linens and treat stains, load all laundry into washers and dryers, folding of linen, must be able to work in fast paced environment with little supervision

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a hotel Room Attendant considered an asset
Available to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends and holidays)
Ability to communicate effectively and positively with guests and coworkers
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on an ongoing basis to fulfill job task
