Responsibilities:


  • Seeking an opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.
  • Able to work independently within a team setting.
  • Conscious of the interdependencies of your work as it relates to the work of others within the department.
  • Agile and able to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Comfortable in a highvolume environment.
Specifically, the role is focused on transaction processing and the maintenance of lease accounts within the lease portfolio system and related proprietary systems


Areas of responsibilities include:

  • Processing transactions into the lease systems.
  • Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records.
  • Performing routine to complex reconciliations as needed.
  • Identifying and assisting in the resolution of unusual transactions or data.
  • Recommending actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to the lease portfolio.

Qualifications:


  • 1+ years experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting program or related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
  • Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels in the organization.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior financial services experience is an asset
  • Bilingual in French is an asset
