Site Supervisor
Position Summary
We have partnered with a local organization based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba that provides emergency restoration services to residential and commercial clients.
This individual will report to the Vice President and will work directly with home owners to provide insight on the project checkpoints and progress.
This individual must have a keen sense for accuracy and maintain a high level of organization.Responsibilities
- Acting as a key liaison between the property owners and the Project Manager;
- Receiving and communicating all clients requests/issues on quality, service levels and trade performances ;
- Updating internal & external clients on the project as needed and maintaining a strong communication channel to ensure a high level of client satisfaction;
- Preparation and completion of material take off's to be provided to the Production Coordinator;
- Traveling on site to carry out the following:
- Perform site assessments and provide updates to the Production Coordinator;
- Verify the accuracy of estimates and the project scope;
- Address quality concerns;
- Perform final walk throughs;
- Responsible for selecting the required subtrades and vetting all quotes/pricing for all projects;
- Ensuring policy and warranty accounts are controlled and at a minimum;
- Remaining current with market pricing for materials, supplies & labour.
Skills & Qualifications
- 23 years previous experience in a Customer Service or Supervisory related role;
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration or other related field would be an asset;
- Knowledge of the construction industry including tools, policies, safety procedures and materials;
- Knowledge of Carpentry requirements
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Proven problemsolving abilities, with ability to practice sound judgement;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external clients and insurance providers;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Ability to adapt to and manage a constantly changing, dynamic workflow with proficiency and calm;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
- Ability to travel and attend the construction sites on an as needed basis;
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence;
- Ability to work independently and be a strong team player.
