Roadtrek Inc. is currently recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist to join their team.

This role will support and assist with the day-to-day operations within the HR Department supporting Recruitment, Labour Relations, Benefit Administration, Employee Training, Health and Safety and other HR related activities.

Responsibilities May Include:

Full Cycle Recruitment
Onboarding of new employees to ensure a positive experience
HR and Health & Safety administration and support
Group Benefit and Pension administration and responding to inquiries
Coordinate and administer training such as AODA, WHMIS, Violence and Harassment etc.
Support our Early and Safe Return to Work Program
Assist with, plan and/or coordinate events
Experience with a time and attendance program to support Payroll would be an asset
Other duties as required

Requirements:

Minimal 3 years' experience working as a Human Resources Professional within a Manufacturing Setting, ideally within a unionized environment
Experience providing advice or guidance concerning health and safety matters in a Manufacturing setting
Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management
Strong knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Health and Safety Legislation
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills; this position requires discretion and confidentiality
