Description
The unit Manager will over see the Outpatient mental Health program as well as the Emergency Mental Health Program. You will work between both departments ensuring collaboration and support amongst both teams. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders and will lead by professional example. The Unit Manager plays a key role in safe and timely patient care and patient/client outcomes. To minimize negative outcomes, the Unit Manager will possess considerable clinical knowledge, skill level and leadership abilities. The Unit Manager will also have knowledge related to protocols, standards and techniques for the department and patient/client population.

The work impacts the level of patient/client care by ensuring that clinical practice reflects the most current, evidence-based techniques and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2-5 years experience in an Emergency Department. Minimum 2-5 years experience in Addiction and Mental Health. Strong communication skills. Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders. Ability to Multitask. Leads by example in all professional capacities.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Degree in a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:
