ABOUT CCATCM


The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CCATCM) is the only educational institution in Atlantic Canada where you can learn to become an acupuncturist and open the door to a rewarding medical career.

At CCATCM you can take either our Two-Year Intensive Acupuncture Diploma or Three-Year Acupuncture Diploma programs. This is your opportunity to join a growing profession. In the province of Nova Scotia alone there are over 3,000 massage therapists, but fewer than 200 acupuncturists.


Our core faculty has been in clinical practice and instructing in this field of medicine for more than 30 years.

Several faculty members have Masters and PhD degrees in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.


Who we are looking for:


The finance officer is responsible for processing and managing college accounts as well as student accounts from admission to graduation.

Some duties and required qualifications for this opportunity are listed below.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Quickbooks or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated passionate customer service skills
  • Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently and team environment
  • Manages records for students that qualify for financial aid

Providing assistance to the management team, instructors, and students. Ensure deadlines are met for financial statements and reports Creating and maintaining correspondence on behalf of the College, including regular communication with the Department of Advanced Education.
Financial reporting technical skills; intermediate to advanced working knowledge of accounting principles and standards Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product

Experience working with third-party providers such as banks, audit firms and accounting firms:

  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Very proficient in QuickBook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Perform daytoday invoice processing, bank and credit card account reconciliations
  • Management of cash flow, general journal, and general ledger entries
  • Experience in computer/technical skills, using MS office

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour
