Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation is seeking a Digital Fundraising and Marketing Specialist.

The priorities of the role are to raise brand awareness (with internal QCH and external audiences), drive online revenues through the integration of digital assets, the development of digital fundraising campaigns and increasing engagement on social platforms through impact-based storytelling.


Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications | Corporate and Community, this position will support strategy and lead tactics designed to grow our donor base through acquisition efforts, increase revenue through retaining and renewing our existing donors, strengthen the pipeline of donors across other segments with a focus on monthly giving and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of all marketing and communications channels.

Additionally, the Digital Fundraising and Marketing Specialist plays an essential role in helping QCH Foundation meets its annual fundraising goals by providing support to the Manager of Corporate and Community Development.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations:


  • Support in the development of the annual strategy, budget and operating plan
  • Meet fundraising targets for digital fundraising
  • Ensure that all data and income generated through acquisition activity is recorded in an accurate and timely manner in Raisers Edge
  • Work with data team to leverage Champions of Care program and Foundation donor base to build a testimonial library for the Foundation with text, photo and video elements coordinate Champion of Care recognition presentations and update RE with any related activities.
  • Ensure the hospital and Foundation onsite digital screens are maintained and updated with Foundation messages regularly.
  • Document all foundation activities, including teambased events, through photography and videography.

Marketing:


  • In collaboration with Direct Response, develop and execute a multichannel annual campaign aligned with the overall QCH Foundation marketing calendar with a strong focus on retaining, upgrading and engaging all segments
  • Oversee the development of the monthly enewsletter
  • Create compelling content for and ensure the website is uptodate.
  • Maintain an editorial content calendar for QCH Foundation; building relationships with key influencers, organizing and participating in online conversations, tracking metrics and analyzing campaign results, and staying uptodate on industry best practices, emerging platforms and trends in technology. Question, test and measure digital fundraising results to ensure a datadriven strategy.
  • Support the implementation of the QCH Foundation brand and communications strategy.
  • Fulfill sponsor/donor recognition pieces as identified in partnership gift agreements and identify new, creative opportunities to recognize sponsor/donor support through communications and marketing channels.
  • Ensure all communications/marketing, digital and print materials are saved and archived in the Foundation Communications folders including, photography, videos, stories, all printed and digital communications.
  • Manage the rollout of marketing ads (both organic and paid) leveraging traditional media, social media and Google Ads.
  • In collaboration with QCH communications team, develop, manage and monitor QCH Foundation social media content across all platforms.
  • Prepare monthly digital reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data related to social media, website traffic and ecommunications and ensure KPI's, performance and financial targets are met or exceeded across all digital channels.
  • Monitor industry news and identify engagement opportunities for the Foundation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the QCH Foundation team on social media etiquette and best practices
    .

Community Development:


  • Identify opportunities for online fundraising campaigns through social channels or peertopeer fundraising.
  • Project manage all digital fundraising initiatives, including critical paths, creative briefs and postcampaign reports measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns and identifying opportunities for growth focus on key activations including GivingTuesday, Lotteries and online campaigns.
