JOB SUMMARY:

The Transport Swamper reports to the Manager of Logistics.

In this essential role, you'll work alongside Class 1 Heavy Equipment Haulers, providing crucial assistance to ensure that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:


  • Working 6 days a week, hours a day, depending on shop requirements.
  • Assist Class 1 heavy equipment haulers with the safe loading, unloading, and transport of heavy equipment.
  • Perform physically demanding construction labour work.
  • Able to work in various climatic conditions and work effectively.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to assigned work.
  • Spot the driver during specific driving maneuvers to ensure safe navigation and prevent collisions.
  • Other duties as assigned and required for JATEC's operations and personal development

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Valid
    Class 5 driver's license required.
  • Must have
    reliable vehicle
:


  • Must be able to lift
    75 lbs.
  • Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
  • Experience working with heavy equipment is considered an asset.
