What You'll Do
Gyptech is seeking a
Work Order Coordinator
Your role will involve:
- Interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders to create and verify work order packages
- Maintaining custom databases and bills of materials
- Coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders on active Purchase Orders
- Facilitating fabrication quotes and/or purchase orders for materials, parts, assemblies, and outside processes
- Administering and upkeeping job information on the Work Order Tracker
- Expediting the flow of materials and parts through our Shop, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Participating in special projects and ad hoc tasks as required
What You Offer
- A postsecondary Diploma or Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read AutoCAD (or DraftSight) and Inventor prints
- Practical experience with an ERP system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with machining and fabrication operations as well as engineering design concepts, procedures and practices is an asset
- Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset
