Consumer Marketing Coordinator & Social Media Manager


The Consumer Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of our consumer marketing efforts, working closely with our marketing leadership team.

Once orientation and onboarding is complete, this role will be a hybrid position, with at least one to two days each week in the office and the remaining days completed from home.

Anticipated structure of the role will include ~ 24 hours or regular/repetitive tasks and responsibilities as outlined below, leaving ~16 hours per week available for project
- based activities and ad hoc requests:

hours/ month project management & reporting per week)
hours/ month e-commerce support per week)

  • 20 hours/ month content creation (blogs & videos) per month (4 hours per week)
  • 40 hours/ month social media activity hours per week)
  • 8 hours/ month SEO activity ( 2 hours per week)

Experience:


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate successful execution of various marketing projects, working with vendors & inhouse team.
  • Coordinate delivery of marketing assets to our franchise partners as needed.
  • Pull regular campaign reports, and share results with leadership team.
  • Manage product listings on our ecommerce website.
  • Work with marketing leadership and various suppliers to optimize landing pages and improve the conversion rate of ad clicks to sales opportunities.
  • Write and publish regular blog posts to our corporate website.
  • Update web pages & social media profiles as recommended by our SEO advisors.
  • Acquire new inbound links to our website from local partners & online media sites.
  • Manage our company social media accounts, including creating and posting regular content (including video content).
  • Build our social media audience & work to improve overall engagement on our social channels.
  • Assist with & Coordinate development of new marketing assets as needed.
  • Coordinate media requests & influencer outreach campaigns as needed/appropriate.
  • Work with our local store managers to coordinate affiliate partner lunch & learns, and new location openings.

Hard skills needed:


  • Social media fluent in the use of Instagram & Facebook, basic LinkedIn
  • Entry level video skills (can shoot & edit video on a phone)
  • Entry level graphic design skills (can work with Canva)
  • Software:
  • Google Sheets comfortable working in spreadsheets
  • Google Docs
  • Mailchimp (Basic to intermediate experience)
  • Canva (proficient)

Nice to have / bonus:


  • Intermediate to advanced photography & videography
  • Basic understanding of HTML & front end web development.
  • Graphic design skills (Adobe CS)
  • Experience with paid ads management (PPC) &/or local SEO
