WestCorp Solutions is seeking an Inventory Analyst to support our Client in Calgary, AB.


Job Overview

  • Daily reconciliation of truck tickets for upstream business.
  • Working in multiple databases to extract/upload truck data.
  • Ensuring all information is correct and upto date for regulatory reporting.
  • Completing redirect requests to account for unplanned product movements.
  • Other duties as required for business needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Interacting with carriers to get correct truck loading information.
  • Complete redirect requests to account for unplanned product movements.
  • Follow appropriate internal and SOX audit processes for inventory accounting.
  • Identify, test, and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare and file reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in accounting, finance, supply chain, or related field.
  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong initiative to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups to achieve the best results and deliver the most value.
  • Strong organizational skills and zero tolerance for shortcuts.

Preference For:

  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Experience with reconciliation activities and product movements.
  • Previous SOX, SAP, and Toptech experience.

Fixed term contract


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
