Analyst, Data Management Operations


What is the opportunity?


You will also be responsible for validating integrity of risk data through the execution of controls, maintenance of reference data, and managing data access requests.

You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation around processes along with constantly re-evaluating the efficiency of the task and suggesting process improvements to continually streamline work.


Please note - This is NOT an IT Role; focus is on execution of key controls, reconciliations and supporting other SDMO capabilities.


What will you do?

  • Support the BAU process and assist in the identification of control gaps.
  • Perform daily monitoring of the StorQM Dashboard, follow up with Record Owners to remediate missing records, and document remedial steps taken.
  • Assist with Compliance testing pertaining to record retention.
  • Assist with the maintenance of program governance documents, including the records metadata inventory, change management records, and JIRA/Confluence pages.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes and procedures
  • Produce daily operational deliverables in line with service level agreements
  • Execution of controls to validate integrity of data (e.g. record counts, file content); assist with monitoring of daily exception reports and associated remedial actions
  • Identify and analyze data quality issues and resolve in a timely manner

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Postsecondary certification and/or 1+ years of experience in an operational environment.
  • Ability to drive efficiencies in an environment where accurate execution of processes and controls is crucial
  • Ability to analyze and resolve data related issues
  • Ability to understand the importance of data quality and integrity
  • Ability to complete high priority items
  • Strong skills in decisionmaking, analysis of data and information
  • Ability to structure worksteps, forecast roadblocks and escalates issues as appropriate.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Awareness of various data management methodologies and frameworks
  • Demonstrate a collaborative work ethic and enterprisewide mindset in the performance of duties
  • Leadership by example in teamwork, cross unit cooperation and information sharing
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills
