RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

Position summary

General Duties

Under the direction of the project leader, the project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and completion of projects related to the BRILLIANT project.

Working with other members of the team and stakeholders, the qualified person will perform a variety of tasks according to the established methodology.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree


Field of Study:
Public health, computer science, information technology or healthcare, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Work Experience: 5 years

Other Requirements:

  • Business and functional knowledge of clinical settings in general and rehabilitation in particular,
  • PMP certification is a strong asset,
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools,
  • Experience with data analytics and large databases (structured and nonstructured),
  • Experience with large scale organizational change efforts,
  • Demonstrates an ability to understand and clarify the business needs conveyed by researchers and stakeholders,
  • Has a proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at different levels of the organization,
  • Possesses analytical and problemsolving skills,
  • Demonstrates great leadership,
  • Is fluent in both English and French (speaking and writing),
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and planning skills,
  • Fosters a cooperative team environment,
  • Analytical skills: Needs analytical skills in order to solve problems that come up during a typical work day. Will analyze data and make decisions that affect the project on a regular basis.

Additional information

Status:
Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)


Pay Scale:
$52, $98,425.60, commensurate with education & work experience

Work Shift:
Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

Work Site:
Hybrid - depending on project needs
