About the Role:


As a Communications Coordinator, you will coordinate a wide range of communications and marketing activities to further develop, support, and promote Fintel Connect's mission, vision, values, and products.

You will be working collaboratively with internal sales and client services teams, and external writers and growth marketing specialists to implement effective marketing and communications initiatives.

The objective is to create compelling content for Fintel Connect's external communications, brand marketing, and acquisition marketing campaigns and initiatives.

This encompasses various tasks such as crafting copy based on briefs, conducting industry research, generating and distributing press releases, and consistently producing engaging blog posts.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Act as a direct media contact for Fintel Connect, maintaining essential relationships with external publications and influencers to drive media coverage.
  • Develop and maintain media lists and contact information. Conduct regular media outreach and achieve targets and placements set by the department.
  • Research, write, edit, and distribute media relations materials, including media releases, key messages, media guides, and media notes. Support the Content and PR specialist with tracking coverage, reporting and analysis
  • Ability to create content for internal as well as external purposes including but not limited to blogs, social media copy, and newsletters.
  • Work with internal and external content writers to ensure the quality of content based on business needs and standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, support staff, vendors, and more to support promotional events.
  • Assist in the production of Fintel Connect's multimedia projects and print materials, including but not limited to reports, awards and booklets, and events and conferences.
  • Coordinate with external communications agencies and internal teams for effective implementation of brand and communications strategies

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of work experience in communications, marketing, and customer service
  • Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • An analytical, detailoriented mind and the ability to think critically.
  • A strong work ethic and you are mindful of sensitive and confidential information.
