About this opportunity
This position is located in Vaughan ON, bordering Peel and Etobicoke.
What you will do
Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and producing distribution materials, i.e., runlists, bills of lading, small and large labels, courier labels, skid cards, etc.
- Importing / inputting production and statistical runlist data, transcribe, update, edit, retrieve, verify, and correct in accordance with appropriate procedures and documentation using source documents
- Creating skidding configuration and boxing requirements through formulas or use of the Pallet Maker system
- Identifying the cause of discrepancies and/or errors and making appropriate corrections when performing verification in order to ensure the accuracy of the data entered
- Use Canada Post Systems (BDT & CP tools) to input customer requirements
- Reconcile Canada Post invoices and create purchase orders in Globetek
- Handling of calls regarding postal shortages, overages and nondelivery of the product
- Managing own workload by setting work priorities and deadlines in order to complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Participation in production and customer service meetings
- Provide oncall service after hours and on weekends
- Arrange courier pickup and deliveries
- Coordinate printer maintenance
- Adhere to and update internal policies and procedures (SOP's)
- Promote, support and maintain all the Continuous Improvement activities (including 5's, planning, execution and followup)

Preferred:
- 2 years of related experience is preferred but not required and basic knowledge of the printing industry is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
