Job Summary:

As an Automotive Parts Puller you will be required to safely pull automotive parts from a variety of vehicles from the yard while maintaining the quality of parts being pulled from each vehicle.

You will be responsible to maintain your assigned vehicle by conducting circle checks and scheduling vehicle maintenance when needed.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Inspection of assigned work truck (Check fluids, fuel, tires and compressor oil)
  • Remove automotive parts safely while maintaining quality of parts
  • Follow safety procedures to insure safe work environment
  • Ensure all parts removed are properly identified and tagged
  • Deliver all dismantled parts to the shipping dock for parts to be prepared for shipment to customers

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:


  • Mechanical inclined
  • Experience working on vehicle and removal of parts

Must own various automotive tools including impact tools

  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work
  • Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate, must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • GED
  • Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure good productivity
- must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments

  • Valid Ontario Driver's License

Physical Demands:


  • Ability to move/lift 50lbs
  • Required to work in all weather elements

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
