About the role
We're looking for a Financial Specialist for our growing team


Financial specialist, Direct Distribution
As a Financial Specialist, you will support Direct Distribution operations.

The finance team works with multiple stakeholders on a variety of workstreams, including (1) business case development and financial analysis (2) productivity and efficiency analysis, and (3) other ad hoc requests as required by the business.


Key responsibilities:


  • Create and maintain financial models for business case / projects
  • Partner with stakeholders in the business to understand and calculate project financial benefits
  • Prepare and analysis periodic productivity analysis
  • Ensure seamless integration of ongoing projects into annual budgeting cycle
  • Manage financial reporting and tracking of ongoing projects
  • Assist in preparation of project presentations at each stage of the project life cycle
  • Participate in adhoc requests
  • Maintain relations with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in the analysis of potential business opportunities and the measurement of impacts
  • Produce structured analyses or ad hoc reports requested by management and provide recommendations on strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Development and implementation of appropriate actions to collect and analyze data required for mandates to be carried out

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree with a CPA/CA or CFA designation
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical ability and very well organized.
  • Proactive, meticulous, and strong capacity to adapt to changes
  • Have intrapreneurial qualities and are results focused
  • Able to work both as a committed team player and independently
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion
  • Other experience / qualifications that are strongly encouraged but not required include:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience in Project Management / analysis
  • Bilingual in French and English
