- Implement and promote best financial practices and processes in support of the organization's strategic objectives.
- Support and follow up with Partners on numerous projects and other tasks as required.
- Communicate financial information required to support decision-making and strategic orientations.
- Manage the company's entire accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
- Efficiently supervise the monthly and annual closing processes and ensure the production of reliable financial statements within the prescribed deadlines, in collaboration with their team.
- Analyze project profitability while highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Accelerate and automate monthly closings and all processes related to the financial cycle.
- Prepare and review budget forecasts and budgets in collaboration with operational teams.
- Identify accounting and financial risks proactively, while proposing timely and innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Manage and ensure compliance with tax reporting and filing requirements with local, state, and federal authorities in Canada.
- Provide support in the use/reliability of business management and reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Hold a recognized accounting designation (asset)
- Minimum 10 years experience, including 6 years experience in operational management control
- Professional experience in the consulting, technology, or service sectors
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools (Pack Office, multidimensional databases, data visualization, Workday, etc.).
- Open-minded, autonomous, and adaptable
- A good communicator, results- and customer-oriented
- Strong operational sense and a taste for challenge
- Ability to move from concept to operational implementation
- At ease handling and managing performance and profitability indicators
