    Description

    Diagnoses equipment malfunctions using appropriate test instruments and circuit diagrams. - Maintains and repairs electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems. - Fabricates and/or installs electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems.

    Able to do simple fabrication of mechanical components using maintenance equipment for bracketry or installation modification of electrical devices - Performs all electrical preventative maintenance related inspections, records results and reports results as per procedure.

    - Reports all electrical issues to the Electrical Leadhand and Maintenance Supervisor immediately.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Red Seal Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction (309A) with 25 years experience in an industrial setting.
    • Manufacturing experience considered an asset.
    • Working knowledge of PLCs, conduit bending.
    • Ability to utilize the Electrical Safety Code and follow health and safety procedures.
    • Required to work on rotating shifts.

    In this role you will be responsible to develop and produce complete electrical design packages for large machines and equipment, including detailed schematics, cable charts, panel layouts and bills of materials.

    In addition to this you will be responsible for programming and testing of machines/equipment.
