The opportunity


The Specialized Retail Lending department is currently looking for a bilingual dynamic individual to join their team as an Account Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Recommend for approval more complex loan transactions up to $1,000,000
  • Prioritization of daily work
  • Adjudicate security requirements on existing loan portfolio
  • Review loans for satisfactory repayment history, correct and continued security documentation and status
  • Adherence to risk/ audit / compliance requirements
  • Meet and exceed defined service level agreements and engage Manager if SLA's are not met
  • Support Manager in the identification of efficiencies to improve operational effectiveness
  • Identify training gap opportunities, workflow gaps and bring them to Manager's attention
  • Take the lead on completing missing procedures on Manuknow

What we are looking for

  • 35 years of lending experience
  • Excellent PC skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Sound problem solving skills and strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to organize, multitask
  • Team oriented with a positive attitude
  • High accuracy skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret business financial statements / accounts
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of Banking policies, procedures and products
  • Strong knowledge of banking industry
  • Strong knowledge of banking systems
  • Sound knowledge of insurance and investmentbased products
