    Description


    Data Modeling Specialist - Financial Systems On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Modeling Specialist - Financial Systems.

    Data Modeling Specialist - Financial Systems - Job Description
    Design and implement data models and schemas to support analytical reporting requirements, reports, and dashboards, manage data model and data pipelines
    Build Analytics and provide support on aspects such as data model changes and security configuration
    Enable Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) augmentation to support external data integration with other data platforms
    Collaborate with data engineers and ETL developers to design, implement, and optimize data integration processes for loading data from various source systems into the Oracle Fusion Analytics data warehouse
    Monitor and optimize the performance of the Oracle FAW, including database queries, data pipelines, and system resources. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities. Requires close collaboration with Oracle product support team
    Implement data modeling best practices and standards to ensure data consistency and integrity
    Provide data modeling expertise and support to cross-functional teams
    May prepare or review product documentation, written instructions or technical literature for accuracy and completeness
    Participate in the fulfillment of ad-hoc data requests from internal business owners
    Participate and guide vendor teams in implementing solutions to fit current architecture
    Data Modeling Specialist - Financial Systems - Mandatory Skills
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
    Proven experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture
    Implementation experience in FAW, at least one implementation experience preferred
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP and EPM modules)
    Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    Good analytical skills
    Excellent SQL query and debugging skills
    Data Modeling Specialist - Financial Systems - Preferred Skills
    Experience in Oracle Autonomous data warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Data Modelling, Oracle SQL Developer, Data warehouse, analytics, and advanced analytics concepts
    Strong knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and data modeling tools
    Excellent problem solving, debugging, performance tuning skills
