You will work in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information management (IM) and/or information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve the structure and efficiency of an organization's I&IT Systems.

The Specialized IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to IM and IT technology.

A Specialized IT Consultant is required to work directly with business leadership to drive organizational change business process re-engineering, and business transformation.

Must-haves:

Lean Six Sigma certified, Blackbelt is preferred

Experience with Capital Asset Management and Planning

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with IBM TRIRIGA.

Demonstrated experience developing training products and providing virtual training on IBM TRIRIGA or IWMS software.

Clearly demonstrated experience with Business Process Reengineering in an enterprise environment

Experience and skills in the below areas are ideal for this position:

Strategic capital planning, processes and statistical data analysis techniques, methods and related processes: data modeling, and statistical and quantitative theories, methods and techniques in order to determine what are the issues and critical objectives that must be addressed in order to enable effective business analyses of the client's capital funding-related data resources
Techniques for the research, development, and improvement of capital planning process models and evaluation frameworks in order to develop business planning solutions
Initiate complex analyses to develop specialized business analytics solutions for the client. Assess the impact of process evaluation findings on the client's policy/program development
Project management techniques to plan and lead information systems research, to provide direction and guidance to project teams, and to manage external research consultants
Understanding of I&IT technologies/trends, data warehousing, databases, data services and products, networks and networkbased services. Understanding of textbased systems, data stores, transformation methodologies, repositories, business intelligence and business analysis software/tools/methodologies for information management and data warehousing.
Capital business analysis skills and expertise in order to exercise project leadership in the development of capital planning models and evaluation frameworks in support of the client's capital development funding of school boards' facilities and determining allocation
Issues coordination and analytical skills in order to coordinate and lead the business management process for capital policy and program operations, and to provide capital data and business process advice, analysis, and project leadership in the design, development and implementation of capital planning data models/structures

Salary:
$80.00-$90.00 per hour
