Job Description:

Your role as a General Manager is one of collaboration, innovation, inspiration, support, and coaching and in doing so, you help to create and sustain a high performing culture focused on delivering sales and profit goals.

- Consistently meet and exceed sales plans
- Maximize sales and profitability by soliciting, identifying and delivering on opportunities for growth
- Effectively manage budgets and cost centres, driving positive Store Profitability
- Hold team accountable for operational excellence
- Inspire a visual experience that consistently aligns with the Indigo brand standards
- Ensure leadership and store staff schedules are fully optimized to drive sales and productivity
- Actively engage in communitybased marketing and events to grow sales and strengthen community ties
Qualifications:
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years of management or leadership experience with demonstrable skills and success in leading and developing others
- 5+ years of experience in specialty retail and/or multiunit retail business environments
- Experience leading leaders
- Proven track record of achieving sales and performance targets
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
