Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Bookkeeper's primary focus is providing for and overseeing the company's financial requirements; the Bookkeeper carries out accounting and financial tasks.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Overall daytoday coordination of accurate financial reporting and a multitude of accounting activities.
- Managing government remittances for corporate taxes, GST, QST, etc.
- Managing A/R and A/P including invoicing and collection.
- Cash flow management.
- Providing regular reporting to the Managing Partners and Chief Operating Officer (including but not limited to budgets with variance analysis).
- Bank, payroll, and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review and approval of account classifications.
- Communicate with clients, client contacts and other professional service providers.
- Some data entry as needed.
- Reviewing and processing employees' expense statements.

Your abilities
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Bookkeeping experience that involved processing of A/P, A/R
- Experience preparing sales tax returns
- Strong technology skills using MS Office and
QuickBooks and an ability to quickly learn - Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Cooperative team player with a positive" cando "approach
- Superior ability to prioritize and focus in a highpaced, multitasking environment
- Must be fluently bilingual in French and English
