• Knowledge using software programs in a Windows environment

• Experience in the Transportation industry and related legislation

• Experience in a client service environment

• Course work or Post-secondary Certificate/Diploma in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or related field would be an asset.

If your resume shows education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above, your application may be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment:

Vulnerable Sector RCMP Clearance, Yukon Class 5 driver's licence (upon hire), Obtain Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Level 1 Inspector's and Federal Dangerous Goods Inspector's certificates (to be obtained within 1 year), Standard First Aid and air endorsement certification (to obtained within 6 months).

Job Requirements:

Must maintain Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Level 1 Inspector's and Federal Dangerous Goods Inspector's certificates, Shift work in a 24/7 operation, Working in adverse weather conditions and confined spaces, Lifting weights of up to 25 kg physically, Able to perform under vehicle inspections, Wearing a uniform provided by the department.
