Description
Responsibilities:
- Delivering instruction based on the approved program curriculum.
- Preparing educational materials for interactive classroom sessions, prioritizing student engagement and individualized learning.
- Implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to a diverse group of international students with an intermediate level of English proficiency.
- Facilitating "real world" class projects to enhance students' practical skills.
- Guiding learning activities for a cohort of international students proficient in English.
- Providing personalized feedback, support, and guidance to students throughout the duration of the course.
- Assessing student progress and communicating their development to college management.
- Keeping abreast of industry practices and global trends, and developing relevant content accordingly.
- Actively participating in pedagogical and staff meetings.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A diploma or degree in a related field, with at least two years of industry experience.
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience, demonstrating proficiency in instructional delivery.
- Familiarity with eLearning tools and platforms is considered an asset.
- Previous experience working with international students is considered an asset.
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
