    Director, Community Engagement and Social Performance at Hatch in Ontario, Eastern Canada

    Our Environmental Services Group (ESG) offers expertise in climate change, environmental assessment and management, noise and vibration, social impact management, sustainable development design, and water resources. Together, we can construct exceptional projects that benefit local communities and ecosystems.

    About the Role:

    • Oversee and expand Hatch's regional Community and Social Performance practice in Ontario and Eastern Canada
    • Lead a team of community engagement and social performance experts, delivering high-quality solutions to mining, energy, and infrastructure clients
    • Identify new business opportunities and revenue growth strategies
    • Develop innovative stakeholder engagement solutions for diverse groups
    • Collaborate with global teams and industry leaders to enhance client projects

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum 15-20 years in community engagement or communications
    • Strong knowledge of vulnerable community groups, including Indigenous communities
    • Experience managing global teams and building successful businesses
    • Expertise in stakeholder engagement, project execution, and client relations
    • Understanding of environmental approvals and international social best practices
    • Willingness to travel as needed
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
