Housekeeping Part time Position

Must be available to work a scheduled part line Monday thru Friday and every other weekend

Hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm

Additional hours/shifts may be available


Grove Park Home is a not for profit and charitable organization that is comprised of 143 Long Term Care Beds, a boutique retirement property, and an Adult Day Program.

Under the direction of the Director of Environmental Services, this position will be 52.5 hours per every two weeks (including every other weekend).

The duties to be performed would be relevant to the area assigned and job routine.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Experience in Long Term Care Housekeeping and Laundry
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be a good team player, also able to work independently
  • Be dependable and flexible to changes within the department and other departments of the home.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, W.H.M.I.S., and support of Grove Park Home's committees.
Position will include both housekeeping and laundry shifts

52.5 hours/7 shifts bi-weekly including shifts between Monday to Friday and every other weekend, hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm

Salary:
From $21.15 per hour

Expected hours: 26.25 per week
