The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.

Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

The NI Quality team is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager (QM) to join the team.

The NI business teams have a track record of producing excellent quality products/ services and operations and it would be up to the Supply Chain QM to play a key role in continuing this level of performance.

The Supply Chain QM role performs an independent quality assurance role with the product teams.


What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems, quality and continuous improvement ?

As part of our team, you will be:

  • providing leadership to the operations teams in ensuring compliance to processes and best practices,
- providing effective quality reporting to product unit and Operations management teams,
- promoting customer satisfaction and quality awareness throughout the organization,
- identifying key areas of improvement by performing process and quality audits and root cause analysis reviews and act as a change agent to promote and deploy innovative practices.
- creating and securing approval of supply chain plans and related quality objectives,
- coaching the operations teams on quality/process issues and facilitating innovative solutions,
- contributing to the effective execution of the Product Life Cycle (CREATE) and SUPPLY.

  • Contributing to the NI QEC and DEC reviews
  • Supporting and executing the NI Quality Management System (QMS) for continuous improvement of operations processes
- reviews and reports on Supply Chain quality KPIs and drive RCAs where needed


Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Experience with NI Supply Chain Processes and KPIs
  • Experience in facilitating change and process improvements within a complex organization
  • Familiar with telecommunication IP or Optical of Fixed technology and products
  • Experience in measurement definition and reporting. Knowledge of TL 9000 metrics is an asset
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001/TL 9000 standards
  • Experience in quality auditing techniques. Knowledge of JIRA audit management tool is an asset

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Knowledge of Nokia BCP and NSA processes and tools is an asset
  • Knowledge of information security, ISO 27K ISO 14K and/or 45K is an asset
