    Brandt is currently seeking an Electronic Field Technician for our Brampton Positioning Technology location. This position is responsible for performing installations, calibrations, commissioning, service, and repair of various machine control systems.

    These systems consist of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components and are installed on heavy equipment such as crawler dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, paving systems, etc.

    Duties may be performed in the field or in a workshop environment.


    Duties & Responsibilities:
    # Performing inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic devices and components using various test equipment
    # Opening, maintaining, and closing work orders
    # Submission of technician reports and other relevant information
    # Providing internal and external customer phone support
    # Mentoring, training, and supervising other service team members
    # Travel required
    # Other duties as assigned


    Required Skills:

    Excellent time management skills
    Critical eye for identifying defects with high attention to detail

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds


    Required Experience:
    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
    Completion of a college, university, or technical trade program in electronics
    2+ years of relevant work experience
