  • Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Deployment and Management:


  • Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage resources, and other Azure services.
  • Create and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
  • Implement and maintain resource groups, availability sets, and load balancers.
  • Set up and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) services, including user accounts and access management.

Patch Management:


  • Ensure resources are uptodate with the latest features and improvements.

Networking and Security:


  • Configure and monitor network security groups to control traffic flow and ensure security.
  • Implement and manage Azure Firewall and Virtual Network Gateways for secure connectivity.
  • Monitor and manage Azure Security Center to ensure compliance and detect security threats.
  • Configure identity and access management using Azure AD, including roles and permissions.

Monitoring and Performance Optimization:


  • Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor and other relevant tools.
  • Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Scale resources up or down as needed to meet performance and capacity requirements.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:


  • Implement backup and recovery strategies for Azure resources, including virtual machines and databases.
  • Set up and manage Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery scenarios.

Automation and Scripting:


  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
  • Automate resource provisioning, configuration management, and maintenance tasks.

Collaboration and Documentation:


  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including developers and IT operations, to understand requirements and optimize cloud solutions.
  • Maintain runbooks and document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Compliance and Governance**:


  • Implement and enforce compliance policies and industry standards within the Azure environment.
  • Monitor and manage cost controls to optimize resource usage and spending.

Skills and qualifications, you'll bring:


  • Strong proven operational delivery of cloud computing concepts by managing and deploying Azure services and solutions.
  • Practical working knowledge of Azure Site Recovery.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ104 (

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate) or higher.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving Azure servicesrelated issues.
  • Configuring Azure services to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Excellent technical design and documentation skills
  • Maintaining azure profiles and subscriptions.
  • Setting up private and public cloud environments.
  • Balancing and deploying workloads.
  • Implementing and managing costeffective cloud systems.
  • Knowledge of Citrix servers and virtual desktops.
  • Experience managing a virtual server environment both on prem and in the cloud.
  • Analyze service incidents and problems, identify risks, provide recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • Take ownership of all assigned tickets and drive to resolution, researching and escalating to vendors as necessary
  • Enforce and follow Compugen ITSM policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in the oncall rotation and will require after hours work for planned changes, emergency incident resolution and provide level support to the IT Operations team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting for automation.
  • Experience with networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools for Azure environments.
  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Superior organization skills and a strong attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn new technologies while working in a fastchanging environment
