Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating the industrial dishwasher to clean all chinaware, glass ware, dishes, platters, basket, flat ware, cooking ware, kitchen utensils, and thermos containers; store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor and the walkin refrigerators
Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed
Set up workstations before meal prep begins
Follow opening and closing procedures of the kitchen
Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous dishwashing experience an asset
Food safe certificate an asset
Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
High energy and a strong work ethic
