To build, create, craft, design, and maintain meaningful and purposeful brand and social media user experiences through curated content and stories that reflect EMCN values, purpose, mission, and the stories of our community.
Strategic planning scheduled organic social posting, community management and social listening to improve performance and engagement of all social media channels.

the opportunity
- Develop relevant digital topics that reach and engage EMCN's target communities.
- Available to attend, shoot and create reels, stories and live from events and activities inhouse and the community.
- Create, curate, and manage all published digital (images, video and written) content.
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and engagement. Implement ongoing education to remain highly effective.
- Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for crosspromotions.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with program and service delivery staff and C5 Comms to coordinate and improve crosschannel marketing strategies.
- Provide proactive guidance and insights on potential improvements or opportunities.
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns.
- Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation.
- Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
- Analyze, review, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results for a variety of users, and donor.
what it takes
While all backgrounds will be considered, the most helpful history will include a combination of direct experience, knowledge, training and education in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Public Relations, or Communications.
Additionally, experience working on engagement-driven organic social media management (Facebook, IG, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc), and working with a culturally diverse, high-performing team in non-profit environments are considered an asset.

- A love for data and a keen understanding of how human behaviour can be influenced through engaging content and conversation, using each network's unique benefits and mediums.
- Excellent communicator and storyteller, ability to extract key messaging and reframe it as needed to engage diverse audience and platforms. with a proven history of building highlyengaged social followings, and active communities for businesses/organizations using their social media accounts.
- A deep knowledge of social media networks, social management and listening tools, terminology, and analytics; the role includes both the ability to define winning social strategies and to collaborate/complement other digital marketing strategies
- Confidence in recommending strategies for communication strategy & social posting (Content, Images, Video).
- Knowledgeable of designing content for calls to actions to support campaigns
- Ability to curate and deliver creative content (text, image and video) using relevant social trends.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, responsive to fastpaced environments and changing priorities.
- Plans, problem solves, and works creatively with limited resources.
- Teamoriented, relationship builder with a positive attitude.
