Daltco Electric is Eastern Ontario's largest independent electrical automation and lighting distributor. Daltco Electric serves the industrial, residential, and commercial marketplace from its three locations in Kingston, Brockville, and Ottawa.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the overall operations of the branch ensuring customer service levels are met and exceeded.
  • Cultivate and manage key business relationships within assigned territory.
  • Develop a strong relationship with all stakeholders at the customer and vendor level.
  • Hire, train, and coach staff at branch level.
  • Lead cycle count and annual physical inventory within branch.
  • Develop a product expertise within the electrical, lighting and automation product groups.
  • Work as a member of the collective team and share successes, learning experiences and failures as a group.

Skills and Experience:


  • 5+ years experience in electrical sales or industry.
  • Minimum college education, Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist program considered an asset.
  • MS Office suite proficiency.
  • Proven ability to form strategic partnerships and build relationships.
  • Values a teamfirst approach to achieving goals.
  • Ability to work and keep pace in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail, organized and focused.
  • AS400 experience would be an asset.
