We are looking for a
Payroll Specialist who is excited about managing the payroll of a diverse, high-volume work environment with the support and training from a highly specialized payroll team.

This
Payroll Specialist role is a hybrid position based out of our Mississauga head office.


What you will be doing:


  • All things payroll including completing biweekly payroll cycle processing in a union and nonunion environment
  • Managing employee lifecycle payroll system such as setting up new hire and processing Record of Employments (ROE)
  • It's all about the reports. Prepare various payroll reports for both internal and external stakeholders and distribute them in a timely manner
  • Identify and provide solutions for any potential payroll issues and/or concerns.

Skills you already have:


  • The Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, recognized by the Canadian Payroll Association or equivalent
  • 35 years Canadian Payroll experience
  • Adept in using Excel and payroll software
  • A proven track record of being accountable for multiple deliverables, reporting and highquality performance
  • Outstanding organizational skills and efficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication
