We are looking for a
Payroll Specialist who is excited about managing the payroll of a diverse, high-volume work environment with the support and training from a highly specialized payroll team.

This
Payroll Specialist role is a hybrid position based out of our Mississauga head office.

What you will be doing:

All things payroll including completing biweekly payroll cycle processing in a union and nonunion environment
Managing employee lifecycle payroll system such as setting up new hire and processing Record of Employments (ROE)
It's all about the reports. Prepare various payroll reports for both internal and external stakeholders and distribute them in a timely manner
Identify and provide solutions for any potential payroll issues and/or concerns.

Skills you already have:

The Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, recognized by the Canadian Payroll Association or equivalent
35 years Canadian Payroll experience
Adept in using Excel and payroll software
A proven track record of being accountable for multiple deliverables, reporting and highquality performance
Outstanding organizational skills and efficiency
Excellent oral and written communication
