No Meat Factory is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator will primarily be responsible for the movement of products in the warehouse and ensure accurate inventory management of raw materials, finished and packaged products.

Main Responsibilities

Manage the movement of products in the warehouse including but not limited to raw materials, finished products, packaged goods and ingredients.
Ensure the integrity of the products and comply with Food Safety & Quality standards.
Accurate data entry of products in the inventory management system.
Rotate products (FIFO) according to storage standards.
Conduct accurate monthend and yearend inventory counts and spot checks.
Perform inspection and daily maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Safety operate power equipment to load and unload products in the warehouse.
Pick and select orders according to spec sheets.
Respect and comply with Occupational Health & Safety/GMP/GFSI/HACCP policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

Completion of High School diploma
Minimum two (2) years' experience working in a warehouse or food production environment.
Previous experience operating power equipment such as a forklift counterbalance, standup or reach forklift.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work in a cold environment for short periods (510 minutes at a time)
Lifting of up to 50+ lbs on a frequent basis.
Valid forklift certification.
Valid BC driver's license.

Core Working Hours:

Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$22.00-$22.50 per hour
