- Work closely to develop and maintain positive business partnerships with brokers and co-workers
- Use the computer system for policy inquiry, electronic filing,underwritingand rating transactions
- Make recommendations to improve the department and increase its efficiency
- Commercial P&C experience is an asset
- Strong typing skills to process daily work
- Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Sound knowledge ofMicrosoft Officeproducts and computer tools
- Team player
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada

We're looking for an UnderwritingAssistant orUnderwritingSupport Clerk Commercial Lines (P&C or Auto), to join our growing team
As a UnderwritingAssistant orUnderwritingSupport Clerk Commercial Lines (P&C or Auto) your work will have a big impact on the Commercial Service Unit Auto and Property and Casualty department. People will count on you to process files andadministrative taskswhile supporting the Underwriters. This position reports to the Unit Manager, Commercial Lines and is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 2 days in our Calgary or Edmonton office.
