This position will be in our head office, located in Welland.

Job Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be the primary lead in the day-to-day functions of accounts receivable, client billings and collections.

Responsibilities and Duties will be as mentioned but not limited to:

Proactive highlighting of potential collection issues through monitoring of payment activities, liaison with customer facing co-workers, and direct customer engagement.
Oversee sale/deposit activities for several remote locations. Perform head office deposit activities. Assist accounting team in A/R related accounting activities
Review and report on order book, sales and receivable balances. Participate in regular (weekly) sales/operations meetings. Present order book, sales, AR information by customer/sales representative. Liaison with sales reps and business managers on issues.
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A selfstarter who is well organized and detail oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage documentation
An understanding of basic billing/invoicing/accounting concepts
College degree/diploma in business/accounting or specific relevant work experience is preferred. High school graduation required
QuickBooks experience is preferred

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
