Job Summary:


The Partner Technology Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining effective partner relationships with strategic front-of-house technology vendors, improved across Compass Group North America café operations. The role will be a technical liaison between a portfolio of assigned vendors demonstrated by Compass Digital and internal groups, including Digital Delivery, Digital Strategy, IT Security, Treasury, etc. These vendors provide technology such as Point-of-Sale, kiosk, payments, mobile ordering, cashless, loyalty, food safety, catering, etc. This position will report to the Partner Technology Director, PMO. Some intermittent travel may be required throughout North America.


Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Partner Technology Analyst -, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Focused research on new vendors to resolve market space, viability, technology readiness, and alignment with core CD and Compass programs such as security mandates, scalability, delivery, etc.
  • Onboarding new vendors in partnership with VSO, treasury, and key CD teams, while bringing them into partner maturity
  • Market analysis/comparisons for existing vendors and product readiness
  • Product strategy/roadmaps and oversight of custom projects with our portfolio vendors
  • Collaboration with other internal teams to collect product needs, business requirements recommendations and drive with 3rd party vendors to resolution.
  • Understanding the payment industry, PCI mandates, internal security mandates, and their impact on our enterprise technology vendors.
  • Upgrade planning for our products with our portfolio vendors, including understanding and communicating the cost impact of these projects.
  • Assist the remediation team in the planning of endoflife products.
  • Build partnerships within and outside the Compass Digital team. Drive dialogue between relevant parties to help achieve the most impactful results.

  • Confirmed ability to work in collaboration with 3rd party vendors, building and developing effective relationships
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the IT or managed food services industries
  • Technical Project Management experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge and experience with frontofhouse technology solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a shown ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and with external parties
  • Proven track record to prioritize and lead multiple tasks and deadlines, delivering highquality results on time and onbudget
  • A selfstarting, selfmanaging individual with a highly developed sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize assigned responsibilities, and allocate resources to achieve the best results
